Head coach: Arnoud Terpstra<\/h2>\n

Arnoud is head coach<\/strong> at GFA and received his black belt in March 2019. He was active as a trainer for many years at various locations in Groningen, Drachten and Leeuwarden and eventually started his own team in 2014. Since then, his focus has been entirely on teaching classes in Leeuwarden.<\/p>\n

Martial arts have always attracted his attention and since he was 12 he has been on the mat almost every day. After practicing Japanese Jiu Jitsu<\/strong>, Jeet Kune Do<\/strong> and Kickboxing<\/strong> he found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu<\/strong> in 2008 and has completely devoted himself to training and participating in competitions from that year on.<\/p>\n

At this point, Arnoud has been involved with jiu-jitsu for 18 years. He has won lots of medals on national and international stages. He has a very calm and relaxed way of teaching and will make you feel at home from day one.<\/p>\n<\/div>
